Fiestas Patronales en Puerto Rico

One of the fun traditions in Puerto Rico are the "Fiestas Patronales" which each town celebrates in honor of a patron saint. This tradition which residents look forward to every year has a catholic origin.

So what is so special and fun about "Las Fiestas Patronales"

If you happen to be in Puerto Rico for these festivities you will not want to miss them. Bring your family and group of friends and enjoy from a variety of games, traditional Puerto Rican food. No Puerto Rican festivity is complete without lost of music and dancing.

The Fiestas Patronales last 10 days and are held in the evenings on weekdays and during the weekends all day. So if you happend to be visiting Puerto Rico during the Fiestas Patronales, make sure you come and spend some time among the locals at these fun festivities. You will get a chance to learn more about our culture, our food, our music and feel the warmth of the people.
